Abstract
In this paper, the deep drawing of TA0 titanium hemispherical part is studied by numerical simulation and experiment method. After an investigation on the rules of this deep drawing process, a virtual orthogonal experimental design is adopted to determine the significance of processing parameters, die radius, blank holder force and friction coefficient, on the forming process. The results show that the die radius, blank holder force and friction coefficient are all significant on the forming process.
