Abstract

In order to disclose the influence of process parameters on the inhomogeneous deformation of complicated thin-walled parts with hoop inner rib. A 3D finite element model of spinning process of complicated thin-walled parts with hoop inner rib was established based on ABAQUS/Explicit in the paper. The influence laws and significance of roller radius, feed rate, friction factor between roller and performed blank, mandrel rotational speed, roller installation angle on the wall thickness difference of non-rib zone, degree of under-filled in the spinning process have been analyzed by using orthogonal experimental design method. The results show that: The most significant parameter on the wall thickness difference of non-rib zone is the feed rate of roller, and the wall thickness difference of non-rib zone will reach the minimum when feed rate has mid-value. The most significant parameter on the degree of under-filled of rib zone is roller radius, and the filled state will be improved when the roller radius increase. With the above-mentioned, a set of reasonable parameters were determined.
