Abstract
Monodisperse hydrolysis-resistant yttrium alkoxide with a rhombic dodecahedral morphology has been prepared via a facile hydrothermal method. The amount of NaOH and the volume ratio of ethylene glycol/water are key factors, which dominate the formation of rhombic dodecahedral yttrium alkoxide and its morphology.
