H controller design of the synchronous generator

Abstract

This paper presents a design method of H controller of the synchronous generator used in aircraft power supply system. A linear system model of generator is provided, and an approach of solving H control was offered. In order to manifest the control effect of H controller, a generator with traditionary PSS excitation controller was offered. The simulation results show that the H controller makes the regulating process of the output terminal voltage be smoother.
