Abstract
Based on the study of manufacturing technology worldwide, a convenient manufacturing process for static blade ring and key techniques of NC machining were proposed. Such novelties included analyses of tunnel feature and machining region partition, determination of optimal orientation of cutter axis, efficient rough cutting of the tunnel including speed milling and plunge milling, high-precision shaping and precision measurement. Application results verify the validity of the techniques mentioned above.
