Abstract
A gaseous mixture system for low pressure casting magnesium alloy has been developed. This mixture system can mix SF6, CO2 and compressed air in certainly proportion, and offers three channels of protective gas for smelting, low pressure casting and leakage safeguard of crucible. The practical application shows that the mixture system can offer good ignition-proof protection during the low pressure casting of magnesium alloy.
