Abstract

To solve the problem of decision-making of the project for developing torpedo, the concept of closeness level of fuzzy mathematics and relating level of grey system theory is adopted to compute the distance of each project with the ideal point and negative ideal point. At the same time, the ideal point method is selected to estimate the life cycle cost and effectiveness of torpedo. As an example, four kinds of torpedoes are estimated. Results indicate that the proposed method has practical value.
