Abstract

A new fault model construction method based on simulator model was presented in this paper. Six steps of this method are as follows: simulator model construction, functional element definition, functional element analysis, fault model of functional element construction, fault model of parts construction, simulation. Functional element was considered as the basic unit when constructing fault models. An example about the power supply circuit of the control actuator was illustrated in Fig 5. The fault model construction method presented in this paper, we believe, is easy to operate and is applicable to other cases.
