Abstract
Heat-resistant energetic materials are critical for applications in extreme environments, such as aerospace vehicles and the exploitation of oil and gas resources. This study proposes an efficient C-N coupling strategy for facile construction of linked ring energetic materials with high thermal stability. Five new energetic materials (designated NPX-05 to NPX-09) exhibited outstanding thermal decomposition temperatures (Td: 342.7-390.3 °C) and high detonation velocity (D: 8163-8337 m s−1), demonstrating the effectiveness of the C-N coupling strategy for constructing novel heat-resistant energetic materials.
