Exploration on an Advanced Knowledge Originated Online Course and Its Teaching Model for Innovative Talents Cultivation on Autonomous Unmanned Systems

Abstract

With the rapid development of science and technology, the cultivation of innovative talents become increasingly important for the future of unmanned system industry. Although a lot of research and reform have been done in recent years to improve the cultivation of unmanned system talents, there are still many problems remain unsolved. Courses and teaching models are the core of college education, through the popularization of informatization, blended learning has already become the mainstream for high-level universities. In this paper, an advanced knowledge originated online course, as well as the teaching model, are brought forward, where much of the conventional classroom lecturing would be replaced by higher-order thinking training such as analyzing, evaluating, debating, so as to stimulate the innovative consciousness. At the same time, the origination and evolution of knowledge are also carefully discussed, by which students could look back to “witness” the creation of pre-existing knowledge, and acquire the ability for knowledge update in their future innovation.
