Abstract

The digital image processing technique has been applied to deal with RTR images of moving condensed particles in a firing solid rocket motor chamber, which includes background subtraction, image enhancement, image segmentation, noise filtration and image addition. Relatively clear condensed particle trajectories have been obtained successfully. It was concluded that image processing technique is one of key links in investigation on two-phase flow of SRM using RTR technique.
