Abstract
Experimental investigation on thrust termination of solid rocket motor realized by explosive incision method was carried out. Thrust and pressure were measured to observe the change process of impact and pressure, and high-speed motion analyzer was used to observe the incision process. The limited experiment results show that rapid depressurization and extinguishment in chamber can be realized in 3-6 ms by explosive incision method to accomplish thrust termination, but the propellant can burn again in a few seconds to generate a little thrust. Explosive incision can generate a large impact to rocket motor.
