Abstract
There are some inevitable manufacturing error between real blade and designed one. In order to acquire the effect of manufacturing error on aerodynamic performance, four sets of plane cascades had been designed and manufactured to simulate different manufacturing errors including leading edge error and profile error. And experimental investigation based on plane cascade had been done to fulfill the research. The results show the leading edge error and positive profile error deteriorate the performance up to 23.4% and 40.1% respectively, while negative profile error improves the performance up to 16.6%. The conclusions can provide reasonable manufacturing technology requirement and criteria of blade evaluation.
