Abstract

Height vs. Velocity profile is an alternative nominal trajectory for SLV entry. The paper completed an H-V profile tracking law based on feedback linearization theory, which took bank angel as primary control input and height as output. Through the state feedback, nonlinear relation between input and output of dynamics was transformed to linear double order integrator. Designing the error dynamics as the form of a damped oscillator, tracking error converged to zero exponentially. The internal dynamics of the transformed system show that closed loop system with tracking law is of global stability.
