Abstract

Advances in micro-sensor and radio technology will enable small but smart sensors to be deployed for a wide range of applications. Without plug-in power, wireless sensor nodes only use their on-board power to work until the power is out. Prolonging network lifetime for these nodes is a critical issue. Aiming at the energy-efficient for the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), this paper discusses some energy-efficient problems in wireless sensor networks.
