Abstract
The numerical simulation of 2D internal and external flows for single-expansion-ramp nozzle (SERN) with secondary injection was conducted by solving the Reynolds Averaged N-S equation with finite volume method. The effect of secondary injection on off-design performance of nozzle was investigated and some parameters including the mass flow rate of injection, the total pressure of injection and the angle of injection were studied in more detail. The results indicate that improvement of performance has been achieved by secondary injection at the tip of lower flap. The mass flow rate and angle of injection which have optimum values are important factors while the total pressure of injection has minor effect.
