Abstract
Three kinds of sine loads with different frequencies were loaded on three groups of cantilever beams. With the identical initial stress on each specimen, the variations of stress vs cycle for each specimen were measured. Then, based on the stress history recorded in experiment, the detoration level of cantilever beam was calculated, and the effect of different load frequencies on vibration fatigue behavior of the same cantilever beam was investigated. The calculation results were compared with the detected results according to the eigen frequency reduction measured in experiments. The results show: the load frequencies have a large effect on vibration fatigue life and the calculation results are in good agreement with the experiment results.
