Abstract
DC contactors are widely used in aircraft, electric vehicles, urban rail transportation and other fields, but during use, the contacts are prone to arc discharge, which has a serious impact on the overall health of the contacts and contactors. In this paper, the installation of a magnetic blower arc drop, insulation resistance, and contact adhesion of the DC contactor were measured. The research has clarified the effect of the arc erosion on the contact surface after the DC blower is equipped with a magnetic blowout device, and the health condition of the DC contactor is improved.
