Abstract

For dynamic reliability sensitivity analysis of stochastic structures under random excitations, a new dynamic reliability sensitivity assessment method is presented on the basis of the weighted nonlinear response surface method. From the expressions of the unconditional reliability, the dynamic reliability analysis of the stochastic structure is transformed to a traditional static reliability analysis firstly. Then the dynamic reliability sensitivity are deduced from the weighted nonlinear response surface method and Monte Carlo reliability sensitivity estimation. The example results show that such method is reasonable. Due to the high efficiency and high precision of the weighted nonlinear response surface method, the presented method is valuable for engineering.
