Dynamic reliability analysis of stochastic structures under non-stationary random excitation

Abstract

For dynamic reliability analysis of stochastic structures under non-stationary random excitation, a new dynamic reliability assessment method is presented based on the point estimation. From the expressions of unconditional reliability, the expressions of the mean value and variance of unconditional reliability are educed from the point estimation of the function moment of basic random variables. Due to the efficiency and precision of the point estimate of the function moment of basic random variables, the presented method is valuable for engineering. An example demonstrates the feasibility and rationality of the presented method.
