Abstract

Angle estimation in the presence of mutual coupling is an important research issue for uniform linear arrays based bistatic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO). In this paper, the effect of mutual coupling varying with different directions is considered, and by exploiting the Parallel Factor (PARAFAC) analysis we recover the imperfect array manifolds of transmitter and receiver, respectively. Because of the utilization of the multidimensional structure for angle estimation, more accurate estimates are obtained. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance than the state-of-The-Art solutions.
