Abstract
A method of digital hologram apodization using the Tukey-Window Function is presented. It is used to weaken aperture diffraction effects and suppress the fluctuation of reconstructed wave front. The results of simulation experiment indicate that the distributions of intensity and phase in the central region of the reconstructed image from the apodized hologram can be well improved in this way. It is especially applicable in the microscopy and deformation measurement fields.
