Abstract

A set of models were selected after studying a series of deviation angle models, and the design deviation angle model was revised. On this basis, a deviation angle model for axial-flow compressor was developed by combining the calculation of S1 flow field. In addition, an off-design deviation angle model was used. The results show that the program for calculating S1 flow field is accurate in a certain incidence angle range. Through verification of a series of cascades, the prediction accuracy of the design deviation angle models is improved, and the error is reduced to 1° no matter the blade profile camber is big or small. The prediction model of axial-flow compressor's design deviation angle is applied to a series of axial-flow compressors, and the error is reduced to 2°. This means that the model is effective.
