Design of special purpose real time interactive simulation environment

Abstract

In accordance with practical requirement of advanced simulation technique in aeronautics, the related contents of the simulation environments were discussed and the concept of real-time interactive simulation environment (RISE) was proposed. The functions and architecture of the RISE system were presented, which consists of the reflective memory (RFM) real-time network and wormhole routing real-time local network. The design of the system was described. The key techniques for implementation of the RISE system, such as cooperative technique, high speed dynamic simulation algorithm, database design, information comparison of the network transmission and application of virtual reality technique, were discussed.
