Abstract
In view of the difficulty of designing coordinators with large track fields in a limited space, the design of a coordinator of a low cost television seeker is discussed. A double gimbal gyroscope is used in the coordinator. By optimizing the structures and key equipments of coordinators, a large track field in a limited space can be realized and the image detection system tends to be stable while the influence caused by electromagnetic interference is reduced. The theoretical analysis shows that the amplitude of gyro nutation is very small.
