Design of air data system of an aviation standby instrument system

Abstract

The design of Air Data System(ADS) is discussed, which is a part of an aviation standby instrument system. The architecture, modeling and development of the ADS are introduced. The selection of an accurate and reliable pressure transducer is one of the challenges in the overall air data instrument design. Precision Pressure Transducer(PPT) is selected as the sensor and tiny single board computer(686CORE) is selected as CPU of the ADS. Flight altitude, airspeed, Mach number can dispaly in AMLCD at the front panel of the aviation instrument.
