Abstract

The field emission property of copolymer nanofibrils, prepared by copolymerization of pyrrole and aniline, was studied. The copolymer nanofibrils were studied using scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed a low threshold electric field of 8-9 V/μm and maximum emission current density of 2.5 mA/cm2.
