Abstract

This paper discusses the control allocationproblem for aircrafts with multiple controleffectors during takeoff and landing phases.Based on the analysis results of performanceindices during takeoff and landing phases, acontrol effector superiority evaluation method isproposed, and further an optimized controlallocation model is formalized for increasedflight performance. As a case study, the control effectorsuperiority and takeoff/landing performanceparameters of a typical canard-delta wingaircraft are evaluated. The simulation resultsshow that the control allocation modelformalized in this paper can efficiently make useof the takeoff and landing performancepotentials of the target aircraft, which indicatesthat the control effector superiority evaluationmethod and control allocation model weproposed are sound and effective.
