Construction of database-based knowledge base for thin-walled tube NC bending

Abstract

The thin-walled tube NC bending process is a process needs adjusting the dies time after time due to various defects. By means of database-based technology, a system of thin-walled tube NC bending knowledge base was studied and developed. It is based upon a lot of sophisticated knowledge in this field and a great deal of data and information from the quality control standards of thin-walled tube parts, simulation results, experiment results, etc. The result indicates that the system could provide quick and effective expertise for operator through the practical manufacturing operation.
