Compound control system of stratospheric airship based on aircrew systems

Abstract

A kind of design method of stratospheric airship with aircrew propeller/aerodynamic compound control system is proposed based on adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) and fuzzy logic. According to the scheme of control system in the stratospheric airship, the pitch dynamic model was founded based on the analysis of for ces and moments acted on the airship. The pitch control system was separated into two parts with the aerodynamic control subsystem and the arcrew propeller control subsystem. The whole control system was designed by ASMC theory, which was robust to parametric perturbations and external disturbances, the performance of system could be guaranteed greatly. The fuzzy logic was used to adjust the contr oller by fuzzy inference rulers in different conditions, and eliminated the chattering near the sliding mode. Finally simulation results show that the proposed scheme can make the stratospheric airship stable and the valid of compound control system is verified.
