Abstract

In this work, we report on carrier-transport, electroluminescence, and photoluminescence processes in an organic light-emitting device (OLED) based on a novel conjugated polymer poly{T,4-bis[3-(4'-butylphenyl)thienyl]-2,5-di(2'- ethylh exyloxy)-phenylene} (PBPTDEP). All of the results indicate that this polymer is a promising yellow-green emissive material for application in light-emitting devices (LEDs).
