Abstract

The magnetic Jcs are higher than 10000 A/cm2 at 1T and 77K, even though the whole volume of sample was used to calculate the magnetic Jc for high JcYBCO superconductors prepared with the powder melting process (PMP). It is found that the transport Jcs were usually higher than magnetic Jcs, Jc alpha B -12/, and the reduced Fp met with the function of b .85(1-b)2 at 85K. The strong flux pinning effects were related to the dense defects such as dislocations and dislocation dipoles around the 211 particles.
