Abstract

Educational game is developed to help player accumulate domain knowledge, improve professional skills, or enhance emotion quotient through game playing process. Its research normally focuses on methodology of integrating knowledge and game challenge, which makes the game fun and educative. This paper aims at an automatic mission construction system for educational game design. The system could provide game missions recommendation appropriately for given knowledge based on the mapping mechanism from domain knowledge onto game challenge. To consequently help to implement an educational game design, the system could effectively support integration of domain knowledge and game challenge. Because of effectively importing some given domain knowledge, an educational game would produce educative function and entertainment.
