Architecture of collaborative simulation environment for complex products based on Petri net and multi-agent

Abstract

In the process of complex product development, the simulation analysis for product performance was faced with the needs of collaborative simulation. Analyzing the basic PN models of the process management system in collaborative simulation environment (CSE), the CSE discrete event dynamic system (DEDS) model was presented based on Petri net. As the implementation unit of simulation tasks in the CSE PN process, simulation component model was built based on multi-agent technology. Through integrating the two models, the CSE system architecture model and its running mode were discussed, to achieve modeling and control of simulation process, and collaborative running of various simulation tasks. Finally, the proposed modeling approach was applied in the suspension system on the simulation platform developed and its feasibility was demonstrated.
