Abstract

This paper investigates the analytical computation of inductance in high-speed spoke-type permanent magnet synchronous motor. This method considers the effect of harmonics and stator saturation. Based on the subdomain model, the flux linkage and inductance can be firstly calculated regardless of saturation. When current increases, the stator is easy to saturate. The lumped parameter magnetic circuit model is used to solve the saturation problem. The validity of the proposed method is verified by the finite element method.
