Abstract

With a novel three-dimensional Lorentz-FDTD method, we discuss the radiated fields of a moving dipole source at high speed. Different from the close-form solution, the Lorentz-FDTD method can be used to analyze the radiated fields of moving targets of complex structure. In this paper, we deduce the iterative formulas of Lorentz-FDTD in the three dimensional case. In a case of considering the radiating fields of a moving dipole source, a good agreement is achieved. The accuracy and validity are also verified.
