Abstract

With the increasing number of the underwater vehicles, the problems of sea-air and sea-land communication need to be solved urgently. In this paper, the propagation of underwater low-frequency field in three propagation models with different rough sea surface are studied and analyzed. The simulations show that most of the energy will first enter the air vertically, and then spread freely in the air as a spherical wave, while part of the energy will spread vertically into the sea water. The degree of the fluctuation of magnetic field is slightly smaller than that of electric field. Furthermore, magnetic field energy tends to propagate in a horizontal direction on the rough sea surface.
