Abstract

A large amount of study on theoretical, numerical and experimental for combustion instability in SRM made by foreign researchers is summarized and analyzed. The paper focuses on the current progress attained by foreign researchers about several main influencing factors on combustion instability in SRM, initiation mechanism, control technology and stability prediction theory. The analysis of abroad study could be taken as the reference for research on combustion instability in SRM.
