Abstract

Contemporary embedded operating systems are built from rich set of components. To address the problem of configuration management, we design an XML based language for configurable embedded system. XGCL takes advantage of the legible and flexible features of XML. It is special designed to provide a common interface for all the embedded operating systems. The paper outlines the architecture of XGCL and gives an implementation instance.
