Abstract

As a detection signal LFM pulse is widely used in sonar system. FrFT is a new tool which has a dominant advantage to detect LFM-signal. However, under the multipath environment, the LFM signal is distortion on account of the noncorrelation superimposition of the multipath component, which results in performance degradation of the detector based on FrFT. In this paper, an improved algorithm based on Active Virtual time reversal and Fractional Fourier Transform is proposed. The results of the simulation indicate that comparing with FrFT the proposed method can enhance the signal power in the Fractional Fourier domain almost 2dB under 4 paths condition.
