An intelligent decision support system for maintenance management

Abstract

An intelligent decision support system (IDSS) for maintenance management is developed. The decision support system comprises several function modules, such as the maintenance resource allot, yield the maintenance disassembly procedure and the time of periodic preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance etc. It gives the optimal maintenance action time by readjust the period preventive maintenance time. A method optimizing the maintenance action time maximize the production profits is proposed. An example is given to demonstrate the optimizing process.
