An improved watermarking algorithm for content authentication based on energy relationship

Abstract

The paper proposes an improved Differential Energy Watermarking algorithm of high capacity and adaptive embedding method based on video content character. The new algorithm consults the value of video image texture and content character. The adaptive embedding method ensures the watermark invisible and robust. Through experiments the method can hide watermark in video stream more rationally, the content authentication precision can locate in block level, the capacity of watermark increases greatly, the video quality decreases slightly and the watermark can be retrieved blindly.
