Abstract

An experimental set-up was designed for measuring the self-field losses of Bi2223/Ag HTS tapes using a transport current method. The frequency of transport current can be freely changed from 0.5 Hz to 1000Hz. Its amplitude can be as much as 100A. .......As soon as the frequencies are more than 200 Hz, the eddy current losses can not be neglected.
