Abstract

This chapter focuses on the applications of mean field game (MFG) and mean-field-type game (MFTG) in the next generations of wireless networks from 5G (year 2020-) to 6G (year 2030-). These wireless technologies include ultra-dense networks (UDNs), device-to-device (D2D) communications, Internet-of-Things (IoT), unmanned-aerial-vehicle- (UAV-) assisted wireless networks, and mobile edge networks (MENs).
