Abstract

Role assignment system determines the final work efficiency for the multi-agent system. The good role assignment method could achieve the goal of 'the weak overcame the strong'. Whereas, problems of poor flexibility, low efficiency, etc. always existing in the role assignment methods for the multi-agent system attract interests of many researchers. This paper puts forward a novel role assignment method for the multi-quadrotor system using the genetic algorithm. N strategic points are designed according to the current situation. A genetic algorithm model are then proposed to obtain the optimal matching among the N quadrotors and N strategic points. The results of experiments in the multi-quadrotor platform demonstrate that the proposed method has better properties in efficiency than the competing methods.
