Abstract

For rapidly synthesizing ultrafine bioactive glass precursor powder, a chemical process was analyzed. To compare and optimize the process of powder, the biogas precursor powder was made by solution sol gel (SSG) and self-propogating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) method at the same time according to the same chemical composition. It was found that the biogas precursor powder could be gained by SSG method in a short time. It was also found that the powder was soft gobbet powder with more uniform components and could be ground to ultrafine powder more easily.
