A Design of Broadband Feeding Network for Circularly Polarized Antenna

Abstract

This paper proposes a design of microstrip broadband feeding network for circularly polarized antenna working within X- and Ku- band. It consists of a broadband Wilkinson power divider and a broadband 90° phase shifter using double T-shaped open stubs loaded transmission line. The phase difference of the two output ports is 90°± 5°, and their mutual isolation better than 15dB. This feeding network is fabricated and measured for verification.
