Abstract

Based on grey prediction modelling theory, an information hiding algorithm of well transparency, robustness and higher embedding ratio is proposed. Making use of the relativity between neighbor pixels and polynomial fitting theory the color secret image is compressed first, and then scrambled using chaos model. Wavelet decomposition and block discrete cosine transform (DCT) are applied to the cover image. Coefficients of mid-and-high frequencies are chosen as the embedded data while the embedding intensity is determined on the basis of Human Visual System (HVS). The experiment results show that the algorithm is not only invisible, but also robust against various signal processing methods, such as noise adding, cropping, JPEG compression, and filtering.
