Abstract
In this work, a 3D-Ag/NiCo-LDHs photocatalyst was successfully prepared. Varies analytical techniques demonstrated that the Ag/NiCo-LDHs showed excellent photocatalytic activity than pure NiCo-LDHs, which may attribute the special structure of NiCo-LDHs with adsorption performance and surface plasma resonance effect (SPR) of Ag nanoparticles. Such flower-like structure of NiCo-LDHs, the petals staggered to form a plurality of independent reaction spaces to provide more reaction space and avoid the interaction between the reaction products. Meanwhile, combining the carbon quantum dots with the SPR of Ag nanoparticles can further enhance the photocatalytic activity. Based on the analysis, the possible photocatalytic mechanism was presented.
