Abstract
Based on the numerical simulation of typical linear cascade wind tunnel, the inflow uniformity of the highly-loaded compressor linear cascade is investigated under different incidence angle and inlet Mach number. The numerical results indicate that, the inherent structure of compressor linear cascade that tilts upstream determines the non-uniform of pitchwise distribution of inlet flow field. As the incidence angle increase, the flow blockage in the blade passage near upper wall is intensified and increases the non-uniformity of inflow velocity and direction. The maximum deviation between the actual incidence angle and the set value exceeds five degrees. Changing the curvature of upper sidewall of test cascade is effective in improving the degree and range of inflow uniformity, and the maximum deviation between the actual incidence angle and the set value reduces to two degrees.
